Upon entering Aunt Vid's Cottage, you will be transported to an earlier era of tranquility on Roanoke Island. We restored the original pine floors throughout the cottage. We renovated the kitchen while maintaining its vintage feel with basket-weave tile, a retro fridge, and butcher block counter-tops. The little cottage has a large front porch for enjoying the island breeze. After a day at the beach or fishing on the sea, the outside shower is a private, roomy spot in which to wash away the sand.
